Anticipating District Changes

Upcoming Transformations

New District Name

Starting in April 2024, the Ottawa—Vanier district will be renamed Ottawa—Vanier—Gloucester. This change reflects the district’s evolving identity and growing community.

Boundary Adjustments

The district will expand to include Blackburn Hamlet, enhancing its geographical and cultural diversity. However, a small section will be transferred to the Prescott—Russell—Cumberland district.
